Techimanhene calls on Essikadomanhen

The Paramount Chief of the Techiman Traditional Area in the Bono East Region, Nana Ekumfi Ameyaw, last Friday paid a courtesy call on Nana Kobina Nketsia V, Essikadomanhen, at Essikado in the Western Region, to discuss matters of mutual interest.

The Techimanmanhene, who also doubles as a Member of the Council of State, was at the Essikado Palace to announce his pending retirement as the Area Manager of the Ghana Commercial Bank in Takoradi.

According to the Techiman Chief, he was due for retirement at the end of February this year, and deemed it fit to say goodbye to a colleague Paramount Chief in whose area of jurisdiction he (Nana Ameyaw) had practised his profession as a banker for years.

Nana Kobina Nketsia V, Essikadomanhen, was very grateful to the Almighty God for all the mercies, guidance, and successes during Nana Ameyaw’s tenure at the GCB.

In bidding him farewell, the Essikadomanhen further encouraged Nana Ekumfi Ameyaw to explore his experiences as a traditional leader, Accountant, and Banker cum lawyer, and give off his best as a member of the Council of State while enjoying his retirement and hoped the bond of friendship between the chiefs and people of Essikado and Techiman would be strengthened and sustained into the future.
