Prang Omanhene calls for support for govt to consolidate unprecedented development in area

The Paramount Chief of Prang Traditional Area in the Bono East Region, has called for support for the Akufo-Addo-led administration by the people of Pru, the Bono East region and the entire Ghanaian populace.

According to the Chief, the NPP government under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has brought about an overwhelming development for the people of Prang Traditional area.

Nana Kwadwo Nyarko III, who made the call at this year’s Nkyifie Yam Festival held at Prang, said supporting the government would encourage it to work hard to solve the problems confronting Ghana.

He said the past government did its best to spread development, but noted that efforts by the NPP governmnent at developing the area have been overwhelmingly massive.

Nana Nyarko mentioned some projects like; the Regional Feeder Roads office which was officially commissioned by the President himself in Prang and the creation of the Pru district by this government deserves commendation from the people of Pru.

Nana Nyarko also mentioned the new Assembly block ensure effective and efficient running of the district administration.

He said the people of Prang owe the President gratitude for providing potable drinking water for the people of Prang to arrest the acute water problem which confront them.

The former member of the Council of State and former President of then Brong Ahafo Region House of Chiefs also mentioned the ongoing construction of the  “one district, one factory” project in the area  which is about 95% complete and believed the youth  in the area would be employed as these developments are bound to attract investors to the area.

Nana Kwadwo Nyarko III commended the NPP government for good work done so far.

Nana Nyarko, however, appealed to the President to consider constructing the Prang-Abease-Kintampo road to link the three towns to further boost the farming activities of the communities along the said road network.
