Celebrated Gospel Artiste, Ohemaa Mercy has stated that she has learnt to remain silent when faced with criticism, scandals and pressure from social media, rather than responding immediately.
She revealed that said she becomes emotional when she hears certain things about herself and prefers to wait until the appropriate time before addressing them.
“I don’t talk. And the truth is that when I hear something like that, I get so emotional. I don’t want to talk about it. But time will tell,” she said.
She made the comments while discussing the criticism she faced over some of the visual elements used during her Tahila Experience programme.
Ohemaa Mercy also disclosed that experiences of betrayal and disappointment from people close to her have shaped how she handles difficult situations.
“I just calm myself or find myself somewhere to ponder over it and then I look at the positive side,” she said.
She added that those experiences helped her understand different personalities, grow emotionally and become tougher.
“For me now, I’m really tough,” she said.
