The decision follows the expiration of the agreement between the parties, according to an official statement issued by GEM Multimedia Ghana Ltd.
The company said Madam Gyan Cudjoe had decided not to renew or continue the arrangement, bringing to a close a professional relationship that began in 2019.
It clarified that Keche Global is no longer under the management, representation, investment or business operations of Madam Joana Gyan Cudjoe or GEM Multimedia Ghana Ltd.
“Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe and KECHE GLOBAL are no longer doing business together,” the statement said, describing the decision as a final professional one.
During the seven-year partnership, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe served as executive producer and, according to GEM Multimedia Ghana Ltd, provided financial, professional and personal support towards the development of Keche and the advancement of its music career.
Her involvement also covered media promotion, management, career development and other creative and entertainment projects.
The company said her contribution went beyond financial investment, noting that she played roles in shaping the group’s vision, leadership, executive production, management, marketing, branding and industry relationships.
According to the statement, she travelled with the duo and supported various aspects of their activities because she believed in the musicians’ talent and wanted to help expand their reach beyond Ghana into the wider African and international music markets.
The seven-year professional relationship coincided with the release of several songs, collaborations and creative projects by the group.
