Next Titan Africa launches reality show for entrepreneur; opens for entry

As registration for the first season of “The Change Makers” begins, the Next Titan Africa Reality Show’s organizers have opened entries for young, inventive Ghanaians.

The reality show is a global-standard television program that aims to practically engineer entrepreneurship among Africa’s youth by identifying the brightest business minds and bolstering their entrepreneurial acumen with financial and logistical support as well as other necessary support to catapult them into successful business personalities.

Young businesspeople between the ages of 21 and 35 can sign up for the reality show, which premieres on June 2nd, 2023. The target audience for this is business owners with creative ventures. To earn the top reward, they might participate in actual business tasks.

The winning prize is $100,000, while the three other runners-up receive prizes of $10,000, $6,000, and $4,000, respectively.

Mide Akinlaja, Executive Producer of the Next Titan Africa in Ghana, said that the contestants for season one will come from Ghana, Malawi, Tanzania, and Nigeria during a press conference in Accra.

After the audition stages in the four countries, the top 50 candidates will be chosen to participate in a one-week virtual boot camp. 20 finalists will finally qualify for the competition in Lagos, Nigeria as a result of this.

“The 20 finalists that will make it to the reality house in Lagos where they would live together for 12 weeks facing different business tasks, will be gradually evicted until one winner and three runner-ups emerge,” he said.

“The winning team will be rewarded with a treat while the losing team will nominate some of their colleagues for eviction. Contestants will hang out with top business personalities across Africa on the show. Ghanaians should grab this opportunity to show their business talent to the rest of the world” he added.

The entrepreneurs will be split into two teams each week to work on a project under the direction of their team leads, according to Mide Akinlaja. Both teams will come back to the weekly boardroom after finishing each job to share their experiences and report. There will be a winner and a loser named.
