Nadia Buari, Adjetey Annan mourn Vincent McCauley’s death

Actress Nadia Buari is heartbroken following the death of her colleague Vincent McCauley.

In a post on Twitter, the actress reminisced about bonding with Vincent over a decade ago when they met on a film set.

“He was so radiant, a breath of fresh air and was always very bubbly. I’ll always remember the way his eyes sparkled whenever he mentioned my name and the way he laughed at my senseless jokes on set,” Nadia Buari posted along with a picture of young McCauley.

She noted that the news of his death was difficult for her to come to terms with.

Regardless, Nadia Buari wished McCauley is resting in peace adding “good luck with your mission in the other world.”

Adjetey Annan, deeply affected by the loss, reminisced about their long-standing connection, “the tight hugs, the smile, the bulging eyes, the new words…we barely have recovered from losing Marlene (‘Lois’: your cousin in the series) and another member of the #thingswedoforlove family #vincentmacauley bids farewell,…not what we imagined beginning a new year…what deep pain! Lydia Forson took to Instagram to express her shock and sadness, stating“Such sad news to wake up to. Never without a smile, always gracious and so so kind. Rest Well Vincent… “

In a related development, Ivan Quashigah, the producer of the acclaimed series ‘Things We Do For Love,’ is in shock and distraught following the death of actor Vincent McCauley.

The actor who plays Max in the series passed away on Monday, January 15. The exact cause of his death remains unknown.

Expressing his grief on Instagram, Mr Quashigah shared that despite being aware of McCauley’s health challenges, he was unaware of the severity of his illness.

He mentioned that the actor, known for his cheerful demeanour, displayed no apparent signs of distress.

Recalling a recent incident during the filming of ‘Yolo Season 7’, Mr Quashigah stated “You had to miss the filming of some scenes and I was left to find a way out. The gentleman you were, you made it a point to come to the office to personally apologise.”

“Unfortunately, I did not notice the severity of your condition because as usual, you gave us your signature handshake that almost removed our arms from our bodies,” he added.

Actor Vincent McCauley passed away on Monday, January 15. The talented actor and administrator died following his surgery for a brain tumour in South Africa.

Vincent was widely loved for his roles in the popular Ghanaian TV show ‘Things We Do For Love’ and went on to star in an impressive range of movies and TV productions.
