Elmina Sharks appoint Malam Yahaya as new head coach

Coach Malam Yahaya

Ghana Premier League side, Elmina Sharks have finalised negotiations with former Black Stars and Borussia Dortmund star, Malam Yahaya, as their new head coach with official announcement very imminent in the next few days.

The ‘Fearsome Sharks’ have had an appalling start to the commencement of the ongoing season resulting into the resignation of their head coach Odartey Lamptey after their defeat against Eleven Wonders in week 5.

However, the ex- King Faisal gaffer has confirmed he’s reached an agreement with the Elmina-based side and will finalise everything with them by the close of today.

Also, he’s assured the supporters of the club of nothing but establishing an attractive side at the Ndoum Sports Complex within the shortest possible time. He told ASHH FM in Kumasi;

“Yes! It’s true I have joined Elmina Sharks but my contract will be finalized by the close of tomorrow.”

“My fans should expect an amazing team. Our target is to build and make Elmina Sharks attractive and to be different from every team in the Ghana Premier League.”
