Alan Cash Drops Massive Cash @ NPP Head Office … to pay for the printing of delegates’ album

The former Minister for Trade and Industry, Mr Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen has honoured his promise to pay for the printing of the delegates’ album of the party for all the 276 constituencies in the country.

The representatives of  the man, who is known in political circles as Alan Cash,  a name given to him by Nana Kofi Coomson, the Publisher of The Chronicle, were at the party headquarters at Asylum Down in Accra yesterday, to hand over the cheque to Mr Justin Kodua Frimpong,  General Secretary of the Party and other national party executives.

They were led by Dr Samuel Yaw Annor, with Nana Yaw Adutwum and Mr Kwarteng Asare Bediako as other members of the delegation, as Alan Kyerematen himself is currently in the Upper West Region to visit some of the constituencies.

The actual amount written on the cheque was not made public, but The Chronicle understands it runs into thousands of Ghana Cedis.

With a total voter pool of 210, 348 delegates, each of the 276 constituencies is mandated to print five copies of the Constituency delegates’ album and the amount will cover all of them.

Available information indicates that the album includes the list of delegates of all constituency executives, Council of elders, Members of Parliament and Polling station executives among others, who are classified voters per the party constitution.

The party, which is preparing for life after President Akufo-Addo, will announce the timeline for the presidential primary to elect its flagbearer for the 2024 elections in the coming months.

Mr Kyerematen and Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia are the front runners.
