Mr. Elvis Osei Dapaah, Member of Parliament for the Ahafo Ano South West, joined by his predecessor, Mr. Johnson Kwaku Adu, has officially handed over a 16-Unit Water Closet Toilet facility for the Mpasaso No1 Community to improve sanitation hygiene.

The MP commended his predecessor, who initiated the project during his tenure, as the MP for the area.

According to him, the project is in fulfilment of the desire of the Paramount Chief of the Mpasaso No1, who pleaded with policy makers for a place of convenience for his people.

He also reminded the stakeholders in the community to cultivate the culture of maintenance for the facility to last and serve the intended purpose of improving sanitation hygiene to avoid cholera and other sanitation related diseases.

He assured the community of completing other projects like the Community Centre and a football pitch to serve the Mpasaso community and the surroundings.

Nana Amma Nyarko, a resident in the community expressed profound gratitude to both the MP and his predecessor for the successful completion of the project.

She pleaded with the government to remember the constituency when sharing the national cake because many of the communities in the constituency lack basic infrastructure.
