Abrenyase new Chief swears Oath of Allegiance to Asantehene

Mr. Immanuel Owusu Ansah, a Kumasi-based Publisher, Graphic Designer, Network Engineer and Agro-Chemical importer, has been installed Chief of Abrenyase (Abuakwa) in the Nwabiagya Municipality of the Ashanti Region.

The new Chief has since December 19, 2022 sworn the Oath of Allegiance to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, at Manhyia Palace in Kumasi, and answers to the stool name of Oheneba Yaw Owusu Ansah.

Oheneba Owusu Ansah, 43, ascends the stool which remained vacant for four years. The new Chief pledged to work with the elders, family members and the entire community for accelerated development, adding that the promotion of education would be his priority.

He called for unity among the people, particularly, the family members, as he, as an individual, could not singlehandedly champion the developmental agenda of the community.

Oheneba pointed out that job creation would be vigorously pursued for the youth to be gainfully employed, and advised them to abstain from social vices like drug addiction, truancy, and teenage pregnancy among other things to secure a bright future and further protect the image of the Abrenyase community.
