Rapper Kwesi Arthur has shared how his experience in the music industry has taught him to be more careful, patient and business-minded when handling contracts and creative work.

“I signed an agreement when I was quite young. I didn’t understand certain things. I was young and hungry,” he told Kafui Dey in an interview.

That experience, he explained, has shaped how he now approaches the business side of music.

“It taught me to take my time and seek the right legal counsel,” he added.

Kwesi Arthur says he now works with proper legal support and conducts personal research before making decisions, stressing that music is not only about creativity but also protection of rights.

“It’s not just about recording or performing. It is also business,” he noted.

His comments follow his beef with former label ‘Ground Up Chale’ and its founder Glen Boateng.
