Wendy Shay opens up on spiritual attacks

Famous Singer, Wendy Shay who grew up in Germany has opened up that she used to face spiritual attacks when she initially moved to Ghana.

On‘The Day Show’ with Bella Mundi, Wendy Shay reflected on the challenges she encountered and the powerful influence of music.

From a background where spirituality was not a big deal, Wendy initially had limited exposure to that realm. However, upon coming to Ghana, she encountered various spiritual attacks, which she acknowledged as a common occurrence in many places. Wendy also recognized that music itself holds a spiritual essence.

“Growing up in Germany, you don’t really see spirituality like that but when I came to Ghana, obviously, I faced a lot of spiritual battles,” she disclosed.

Curious about the reasons behind her popularity and the strong connection with her audience, Wendy acknowledged that there must be something beyond her that attracts people to her performances. She believes that her music carries a spiritual force that resonates with listeners, contributing to her success as an artist.

She further added that; “It’s normal everywhere. Music itself is a spirit. What is so special about me that people will like to come and watch me perform. There should be something that is beyond me that is actually making that happen.”

The ‘Emergency’ hitmaker expressed how these experiences have played a fundamental role in her personal and artistic growth. Despite always knowing she wanted to pursue music, the challenges she faced allowed her to discover her true purpose and live a more purpose-driven life. She now approaches her career with mindfulness and strives to live intentionally, embracing her identity as a purpose-driven artist.
