Asante Kotoko communication team member, Twum Barimah has disclosed that they will not underestimate Bechem United ahead of their clash on Sunday, October 29 2023.
Barimah asserts it will be misleading for Kotoko to assume the Hunters will be a walkover based on their current struggles as he believes they have the quality to cause an upset on Sunday.
“We are not going to underrate Bechem because they are struggling. For the past three years they have caused us a lot of problems at the Baba Yara Stadium,” Barimah told Kumasi-based Kessben FM.
“They’ve got some brilliant former players return to the club in Augustine Okrah, and Osei Kuffuor who Kotoko had wanted to sign. They have a very good team so we are not taking the game lightly. We will make sure to support the players to perform better than our previous game to pick all three points to make us happy,” he added.
