Ghanaian rapper Samuel Adu Frimpong, known as Medikal, has shared details about his co-parenting relationship with his former partner, Fella Makafui, describing it as cordial and centred on the wellbeing of their daughter.
In an interview on Starr Showbiz , the artiste indicated that despite their separation, they have maintained a healthy arrangement focused on raising their child.
“Oh, it’s a very cool one. We are co-parenting nicely. You know, she’s taking good care of Island,” he said.
He explained that their interactions are strictly based on parenting responsibilities, noting that they do not maintain a personal relationship beyond that.
“I mean, we don’t meet and stuff. She doesn’t come home and stuff but I mean, we talk anytime that when there’s need be to talk concerning Island and what to do for Island.”
Medikal also highlighted the bond he shares with his daughter and the effort he makes to be actively involved in her life.
“Anytime Island comes too, we spend a good time. We have a quality time. I take good care of her.”
