Plans are far advanced by the Member of Parliament (MP) for Upper Manya Krobo Constituency, Bismark Tetteh Nyarko, to construct a community clinic and mechanised borehole for residents of Aframase in the Upper Manya Krobo District in the Eastern Region.
This came to light during a presentation of project drawing to the people of the area at a mini durbar.
The MP informed the community that a plot of land had already been acquired and building materials had been provided to initiate the construction of the clinic.
In addition to the healthcare facility, the MP addressed a long-standing water issue.
The community leaders had lamented a broken-down borehole and despite seeking financial assistance from the District Chief Executive (DCE), no positive response was received.
The Upper Manya Krobo Legislator assured the community of his readiness to resolve the water problem promptly.
Highlighting further initiatives, the MP revealed that Aframase is among the 36 communities slated to benefit from a Rural Electrification project, lobbied during his first term as a legislator.
The MP said this multi-faceted approach aims to address both healthcare and infrastructure needs, demonstrating his commitment to the holistic development of the constituency.
