The Church has manipulated tithe to enrich itself

Israel United In Christ (IUIC) has opened its maiden school in Ghana with a mission to change the status quo in the Ghanaian Christendom.

It has accused the universal Church of manipulating tithes to enrich themselves, a position it believes stemmed from colonialism.

Moreover, the IUIC believes that the Church seeks to rob the congregation, remain oppressed, and keep it under colonialism.

Bishop Nathayanel Ben Israel, Founder of IUIC (third right), speaking at the inaugural function.

It is also of the view that the people of the black race are Isrealites who come from the Judea tribe. It also seeks to debunk the colonialism lies that Jesus is white.

The IUIC is of the view that the Bible was written by the forefathers of the black race under the inspiration of the Most High God.

“There has always been [a] great conspiracy and lies against our people, which has oppressed us and kept us on colonialism.”

These disclosures were made by Bishop Nathanyel Ben Israel, Founder of IUIC, during the inauguration of their maiden school at Denkyembouso in the Kwadaso Municipality of the Ashanti Region.

The IUIC School aims to teach the members of the Church its doctrine.

The event was attended by chiefs and Church members among other dignitaries in the Ashanti region.

Ben Israel argued that moneytisation of tithe by the Church was aimed at ripping off the masses.

These churches, he told the media, stay oppressed, stay destroyed, and rob congregants, adding that was what the Churches were teaching.

“We came from those Churches; we came out – God walked us out; come out of that my people, so we have come out and I will teach you God’s commandment, because by breaking God’s commandment keeps us oppressed and colonised and enslaved.”

It contends that per what is written in the Book of Malachai, it is stipulated that ten percent of corn and crabs was paid to the Levites every three years, but this has been altered.

He argued: “Tithing in the Bible is 10% of your corn and crabs, which was paid to the Levites every three years. Churches have manipulated that scripture and so no… no… no…. now it is money. They got that from the coloniser.”

This, according to the IUIC, was how the white man gets rich – these pastors became rich through the congregation, living lavishly by chauffeuring in automobiles such as the Bentley, Bugati, and Porsche.

“That is what they want, and it is through you; those days must end now; we all work and support one another.”

Asked about what the open door assertion in the Bible refers to in the Book of Malachai, Nathanyel told the media that a man robs God because he is not taking care of the Levite priests through corn and seeds.

“We were made to believe that we should give ten percent of that to the priests – The Livites – who had no inheritance of land, so our job, as the other eleven tribe of the Israelite, was to support them, so that they were always provided for in times of food and clothing, but they have changed that today.”

Quizzed if the doctrines of IUIC would not be perceived as discriminatory among the Ghanaian churches, he responded in the affirmative, saying, of course, they are going to say that.

“They enslaved you; colonised you; raped your mothers; raped you fathers; cannibalise us to ate us on some of the slave ships, that is what they did when they ran out of food,” Bishop Nathanyel stated.

“When you read in the Bible, the Bible calls them the synagogue Satanists.”

Contrasting Biblical antecedents to modern day Christianity, Bishop Israel asked how Paul went to Corinth and Thessalonica to propagate the Gospel, adding: “Not only did he work when he did not have work, the church provided for Paul – here is the money go…go you need to go there; you need to go here. The churches do not provide for that.”

Asked why blacks were the people of Israel and yet they were poor, he noted: “Because we continue to break the Commandments”

Moreover, the IUIC authority mentioned that the white man had a system established to keep the black man impoverished, after taking raw materials such as gold, diamond, bauxite and oil from these nations.

“The white man has an evil system to set us impoverished.”

In an analogy to drum home his argument, Bishop Nathanayel used modern day Belgium as a prime example, where resources from the African nations have been used to build the European nation.

According to the IUIC prelate, Belgium is a beautiful nation, but then if you learn the history of how Belgium got their money from and the plight of Congo, you understand the equation.

He said: “Congo is like hell on earth –poor impoverish. The white man has an evil system set up to keep us impoverished.”

Asked if they have any branch elsewhere in Africa, Bishop Ben Israel noted that they have many branches in countries such as in Liberia, Sierra Leon, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Uganda and throughout America and England.

Responding to a question about the purpose of the Church, the IUIC prelate noted that it seeks to speak the truth; the whole truth and nothing.

On their origin, Ben Israel underscored that they are not Ghanaians neither are they African-Americans nor Asians or Jamaicans, adding that those were labels that we have adopted.

“God calls us the Israelite –twelve tribes of Israelites and we have one King, whom the world calls Jesus Christ. He is the King, a black man.”

Asked about what makes his Church unique from others, he noted: “We teach the commandments; this makes us different from the other churches. All the other churches preach colonialism – Colonialism lies that Jesus is white.

Nana Aduemeng Ofori III, who is the Kokofu Twafo and Sebedea Chief, who was an invited guest at the function, noted Suez Canal and the African continent were one, but owing to demarcation it separated the continent from the modern day Israel.

This, he stated, was about time that the blacks, who were Israelites, took up their identity and adhere to the commandments of God, since that was the only way to open prosperity to us (Africans).

“What they are saying makes sense in that,if we obey the commandment of God we will see prosperity.”
