Tepa Nursing College appeals for support to complete classrooms project

Mr. Albert Opoku, Principal of Tepa Nursing and Midwifery Training College, has appealed to stakeholders and philanthropists to come to the aid of the school to complete a classroom block project.

According to him, the school faced infrastructural deficits, especially classrooms, and that the situation was affecting academic work, hence the need to expand the infrastructure.

He told the media over the weekend that though the school received support from some stakeholders last year, which enabled the authorities to start the three-storey building with four big classrooms project.

He expressed his gratitude to the Tepa Traditional Council, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Minister for Energy and Member of Parliament (MP) for Manhyia South, Mr. Collins Dauda, MP for Asutifi South, and the Member of Parliament for Tepa for their support towards the project.

The Principal also reminded other stakeholders, including Mr. Kingsley Agyeman of the Scholarship Secretariat to honour their promises made to offer scholarships to some of the needy students who were struggling to pay their school fees.

He also pleaded with the telecommunication networks in the country to extend their corporate social responsibilities to the school, by assisting with infrastructure like dormitories and other ICT logistics to enhance teaching and learning.
