Renowned Gospel Artistes, Tagoe Sisters have apologises to Zapp Mallet for excluding him in their 40th anniversary celebration.which was held on October 15, 2023.
Zapp Mallet had earlier written on social media that, he has been very instrumental in the music journey of the duo but he was not considered worthy to be invited at their 40th celebration which had a surprise attendance by President Akufo-Addo.
According to the Zapp Mallet, he produced the twin sisters’ second album in 1989 so it was only fair that he is acknowledged with an invitation.
In a press release, the Tagoe Sisters through their Head of Event and Manager, Nii AmarhAmartefio said “the exclusion was an unpardonable oversight on the part of management and event organisers as Tagoe Sisters added his name to the VIP lists to be invited for both events at the Underbridge and Accra International Conference Centre.”
“Once again, our sincere apologises” Tagoe Sisters said in the statement ending that “For emphasis purposes, the 1989 release was an album and the producer of same cannot be no other than you sir.”
