If the guest ministers announced for this year’s International Prophetic Gathering (IPG) promise deep prophetic ministration, the musical line-up released by Zion Praise Chapel International promises to raise the roof off the church’s auditorium.
Organisers of the 29th edition of IPG, running 9th to 16th August 2026 at the church auditorium behind Blanko Oil, Takoradi have unveiled a sixteen-strong roster of gospel musicians and worship leaders billed to lead praise and worship across the eight-day gathering, alongside host Bishop Bernard Ogyiri Asare and guest ministers Rev. Sam Oye, Dr. Kwadwo Bempah and Prophet Emmanuel Adjei.
Speaking ahead of this year’s programme, Bishop Ogyiri Asare said the strength of the musical line-up was deliberate. “Worship is not the warm-up to the word; it is where the atmosphere for the prophetic is set,” he said. “For 29 years, IPG has brought together the best voices in praise and the clearest voices in prophecy, and this year is no different. I am confident that from the first note to the final altar call, God will show Himself strong among His people.”
Topping the list of vocal ministers are Pastor Joe Beecham, Sk. Frimpong and Pastor Gid Fase, names long associated with anointed worship on Ghanaian and West African gospel stages. They will be joined by Efua Black, Lady Joy and Papa Richie whose ministrations are known for stirring deep, reflective worship encounters.
Rounding out a formidable praise team are Ben Duah, Pascal Koomson, Pastor Enoch Ewudzie, Minister Irvine Anyekase, Sani Abacha and Pastor Kwame Sikaba, a mix of established voices and rising ministers bringing energy and depth to the week’s evening sessions.
Female vocal power will also be strongly represented, with Faith Essien, Sheila Adamptey and Vivian Annan billed to lead segments of worship across the programme. Adding a fresh, contemporary flavour to the gathering is Nii Mens Music, while the acclaimed Unrestrained Incorporated choir and Steve O and the Broken Chains will provide the full choral backbone that IPG worshippers have come to expect year after year.
For thousands of Ghanaians who make the pilgrimage to Takoradi every August, IPG has never been just a preaching programme, it is an atmosphere. Past editions have drawn projected crowds of 20,000 to over 50,000 patrons, pulling worshippers from across the country and beyond to experience a rare combination: globally recognised prophetic voices ministering alongside some of the finest praise and worship talent in Ghana and the diaspora.
This year’s musical assembly continues that tradition, promising eight days of unbroken worship, from the 9am morning sessions to the 5pm evening encounters where prophecy, praise and testimony are expected to converge on one stage.
With a guest ministerial line-up already generating buzz, and now a musical roster deep enough to headline its own concert series, the 2026 International Prophetic Gathering is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about spiritual events in the Western Region this year.
