Rt. Hon. Alban Kingsford Bagbin, the Speaker of Parliament, has paid a courtesy call on His Royal Majesty, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
The two Statemen had cordial discussions and engaged in a fruitful discussion on matters of national interest and development, youth empowerment and other issues of great importance.
The visit coincided with Rt. Hon. Speaker’s visit to the Calvary Charismatic Center, where he joined in prayers for the prosperity and well-being of Ghana.
The Speaker expressed his sincere appreciation to His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the people of Kumasi for the warm hospitality and gracious reception.
He also reaffirmed his commitment as the leader of Ghana’s Parliament to ensure that democracy is deepened in Ghana’s governance system to enhance total and sustainable development for the interest of the citizenry.
