Sarkodie gives permission to fans to receive royalties from his song

Michael Owusu Addo, professionally known as Sarkodie is giving permission to his fanbase, known as ‘Sarknation,’ to own royalties in his song.

The post on his Facebook page on March 5 inquired if SarkNation, his fans, would like to own a share in any of his song and earn royalties from it.

The Rapperholic as he is nicknamed made the post following an initial post which asked fans what they wish the rapper could do for them.

“SarkNation interested in owning shares in one Sarkodie Track and earn royalties?” the rapper asked in his Facebook post.

Social media users have since reacted to his post and have already commended him although the rapper has not yet implemented his idea.

One user said “Wow! This is what I have been waiting to see our celebrities do. Give your fans ways to earn too. Great move!”

Another user said “This is such a BIG call! This is why you’re the Landlord. Whoever is behind has taken such a revolutionary step that will redefine ShowBiz.

Other user noted “This is great news for the fans.”
