RTU beat Gold Stars to return to winning ways

RTU record victory at Tamale

First half goals from Mustapha Fuseini and Mohammed Sadat gave Real Tamale United a deserving victory against newcomers Bibiani Gold Stars.

The Northern Blues wasted no time in showing their intent at the Aliu Mahama Stadium, after Mustapha Fuseini opened the scoring from a brilliant piece of play by the hosts.

Sadat Mohammed doubled the lead five minutes later from the spot.

Real Tamale United dominated the half and went into the break with the lead.

After the break, they continued to pile pressure in search of a third goal but could just not find the connection.

Bibiani Gold Stars defended resolutely and there was no way back for the Bibiani-based club.

Real Tamale United will next travel to Techiman to play Eleven Wonders while Bibiani Gold Stars welcome Legon Cities.
