Queenmothers of Ghana Ahemaa Mpuntuo honoured

Queenmothers play vital roles in the development of their traditional stool lands and the nation at large, but, most of the times, they are neglected when it comes to given recognition to these agents of nation building and development.

Due to this, Bombisco Multimedia took it upon itself to award some hardworking queenmothers who have contributed immensely to the development of their area.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bombisco Multimedia, Mr. Isaac Asare, emphasised on the need for queenmothers to maintain peace and tranquility with their various chiefs to develop their areas.

Also, the CEO stressed on the point that queenmothers should be truthful and honest in selecting people from the royal families to fill a vacant stool whenever a it becomes vacant due to the passing away of a chief.

“There are many stool litigations in our country these days, because of the biased nature of some bad queenmothers,” he bemoaned.

In all, 26 queenmothers from the length and breadth of the country were awarded, including Nana Awo Kyekyeh, Aburi Kyidomhemaa and Brukuase Ohemaa.
