Dr Joseph Albert Quarm, aka Prof Quarm, the former Member of Parliament for Manso Nkwanta Constituency, in the Ashanti region, has single handedly embarked on the reconstruction of about 60 kilometers of roads within the constituency, in a comeback bid.
Roads that would benefit from the proposed construction include; the Antoakrom-Nsianan-Moseaso-Wiowsostretch.
Dr. Joseph Albert Quarm is aspiring to contest in the Parliamentary primaries of the NPP in January 2024.
According to him, the constituents have expressed their disappointment in the government over the unfixed roads in the area, hence his decision to take it upon himself to fix the roads for the suffering masses.
According to the former lawmaker, he lobbied through the Ministry of Roads for the construction works on the roads in the area whilst in office, but nothing has been done in the last four years.
Prof. Quarm appealed to government to, as a matter of urgency, come to their aid to construct the abandoned roads, which is stifling development in the constituency.
