Otumfuo suggests to gov’t: increase investment in technology

Geoplast Ghana Limited, a building Input supply construction has received a Gold Award at the 18th Ashanti Business and Financial Excellence Awards held over the weekend.

The Awards ceremony, organised under the auspices of Manhyia Palace, was organised by TOP BRASS Ghana.

Nana Agyekum Kusi Ababio, the Oyokohene of Kumasi, on behalf of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, presented the Award to Mr. Kwadwo Bonsu, the Chief Executive Officer of the construction firm at the ceremony for its Innovative Technology in Building, which makes buildings Economical and fast.

The Oyokohene commended the tremendous efforts of the company in the construction sector.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II tasked the government to increase investment in technology and partner with the private sector to improve the socio-economic growth towards recovery from the pangs of COVID-19.

The Asantehene urged Ghanaians not to take the peace the country is enjoying for granted, in order to benefit from the economically friendly business community.

Mr. Kwadwo Bonsu, the Chief Executive Officer of Geoplast Ghana Limited, who received the Gold Award on behalf of his company, expressed his profound gratitude to Manhyia Palace and the organisers of the occasion for the recognition and honour done the firm.

He disclosed that the Award will serve as a motivation to the company to do more.
