The Offinso North District Assembly has commissioned classroom blocks and a toilet facility at Akomadan and Bosomposo.

The projects include a three-unit classroom block for the Bosomposo Junior High School, a six-unit classroom block for the Akomadan Presbyterian Junior High School and an 8-seater toilet facility for Akomadan Frafraline.
Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Minister who joined the District Chief Executive, Mr. Caesar Ofosu Acheampong, to commission the projects, commended the Assembly for the laudable edifice aimed at improving education in the communities.
He assured the chiefs that he would liaise with the Director of Feeder Roads to ensure the road network is asphalted and electricity extended to the community.
He stressed that the government was committed to completing projects inherited from the previous government to enhance total development and improve the living standards of the people.

The Ashanti Regional Minister expressed optimism that with the commitment and efforts of the Assembly the needs of the residents would be prioritised. DCE Caesar Ofosu Acheampong for his part explained that pupils previously attended school in a pigpen structure hence the Assembly prioritised the classroom projects to ensure their timely completion.
He appealed to stakeholders and teachers to take good care of the facilities and adopt a maintenance culture to ensure they serve their intended purpose. Nana Boakye Akuamoah Boateng, Chief of Akomadan, who was represented by the Akomadan Gyasehene, Nana Kwaku Boateng, appealed to the government through the Regional Minister to tackle the road network to enable farmers transport their produce and avoid perennial post-harvest losses.

He also urged the government to improve dams at Akomadan and surrounding communities to support tomato farmers and reduce the need to import from Burkina Faso, as well as address the challenges traders face.
