Officialdom supports Tepa Nursing College 5-year strategic plan

The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and the Minister for Energy, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, have responded positively to an appeal for funds by the Tepa Nursing and Midwifery Training College for its expansion programme.

The Veep and the Energy Minister have contributed GH¢20,000 each towards the five-year strategic plan of the College to boost its infrastructural development agenda.

Dr. Kingsley Agyemang, Registrar of the Ghana Scholarship Secretariat, who announced the contributions of Dr. Bawumia and Dr. Opoku Prempeh, also contributed GH¢20,000 at a fund raising, during the Matriculation Ceremony of the school last week.

Other donors included Alhaji Collins Dauda, Member of Parliament for Asutifi South (GH¢10,000), Tepa Traditional Council (GH¢10,000), while the Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON), the student wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), contributed GH¢10,000 through the party’s National Organiser, Henry Nana Boakye Esq., popularly known as Nana B.
