NPP Vetting Committee clears Kwaku Fosu Frimpong to contest Ahafo Ano North parliamentary seat

The Vetting Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) last Wednesday cleared Mr. Kwaku Fosu Frimpong, a business consultant and a renowned philanthropist to contest the Ahafo Ano North NPP primaries.

Fosu Frimpong, 43, and a native of Tepa, is contesting the seat alongside Nana Eric Agyeman Prempeh, the Director-General of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), also a native of Tepa.

With the declaration of the incumbent Member of Parliament since 2017, Hon. Suleman Adamu Sanid not to seek re-election after serving two terms in parliament, Philanthropist Kwaku Fosu Frimpong has positioned himself well enough to receive Ahafo Ano North baton on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the 2024 elections.
He is No. 2 on the ballot for constituency parliamentary
primaries on January 27, 2024.

The aspirant has announced that he would institute a private insurance policy under health, funeral and education policies and pursue infrastructural development agenda under which he would tackle deplorable road network and address infrastructural deficits in the constituency.

He has also promised to make the party attractive in the constituency.
Kwaku Fosu Frimpong is already a household name across the constituency having organised employable skills training programmes to benefit about 1,500 constituents since October 2023.

In November this year, the Philanthropist embarked on the rehabilitation of 451km out of the 500 kilometres of roads in Ahafo Ano North for the benefit of 47 communities in the municipality.

Mr. Kwaku Fosu Frimpong, believes true wealth of a community lies in the economic growth of its people through education, hence the interventions to help the constituents improve their livelihood and build Ahafo Ano North Constituency in unity towards the 2024 elections.

He said his philanthropic activities gives him the leverage to serve the people hence his resolve to generously donate his time, money, experience, skills or talent to promote the welfare of others and help create a better world.
Kwaku Fosu Frimpong has also facilitated the installation of a mask by the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC) at Numasua to serve communication needs of the residents of surrounding communities.

He has, therefore, appealed to delegates to vote massively for him at the primaries to ensure a majority win over the NDC Parliamentary candidate in the 2024 elections.
