NADMO director to contest Subin NPP primaries

Mr. Frank Kwadwo Duodu, the Ashanti Regional Director of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) has filed his nomination forms to contest the Subin Parliamentary seat in the upcoming NPP primaries on January 27, 2024.

The Subin constituency secretary Mr. Akuamoah Boateng received Mr. Duodu’s forms at the constituency Secretariat of the party.

Mr. Duodu’s bid is his third since 2016 when he lost to the incumbent. In 202, he filed his nominations and got vetted and cleared by the Party’s Vetting Committee but disqualified at the eleventh hour without any explanation by the party.

Until his appointment as Regional NADMO Director in April 2022, Mr. Duodu was the Metropolitan NDAMO Director at the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) since 2018.
Mr. Duodu, 53, who is an Associate Member of the institute of Professional Financial Manager (UK), has a wide experience in research and leadership.
He holds a Master of Science in marketing and e-commerce from the Lulea University of Technology in Sweden (2009 and 2011) having obtained his Bachelors in Business Administration (Accounting Option)
from the Christian Service University College in Kumasi (2005 to 2008).
Mr. Duodu studied General Arts at Prempeh College in Kumasi in 1976 before pursuing Diploma in Business studies (DBS), Accounting Option.

He assured that he is ready for the race and urged delegates to consider his candidature to ensure unity in the party and help break the 8 to move the party forward.

He is contesting the seat alongside three others including the incumbent, Eugene Boakye Antwi and one Lawyer Obiri Yeboah.
