Shatta Wale has attacked his management team, saying he is solely responsible for managing the brand and securing business opportunities.
In a TikTok Live rant, the Dancehall Artiste said none of his team members could claim to have brought him a financial opportunity throughout their time working together.
“I am the one managing my whole Shatta Movement. In my crew, no member in there can say they have brought some financial deal to help me. They sit aloof and I always go and bring the money deals,” he said.
According to Shatta Wale, his team lacks the ability to create opportunities, adding that some of his fans have shown more initiative than members of his management circle.
“My team don’t even know how to make opportunities happen. Even the fans know how to do that,” he stated.
The ‘Dancehall King’ crooner singled out Sammy Flex, saying he had advised him to stop frequently discussing fellow musician Stonebwoy on his podcast.
“Take Sammy Flex for instance, recently, I was telling him to stop the useless rants he makes on his show always about Stonebwoy. Every day Stonebwoy! Sammy Flex, the podcast he’s doing, he thinks we still in radio season,” Shatta Wale said.
He further mentioned Alordia during the livestream, suggesting that some people around him avoid criticizing him because he assisted them with visa processing.
“When Alordia is misbehaving, they can’t say anything because he processed their visas for them but not me. I will say it because even my father, when he does something wrong, I tell him straight in the face my mind,” he added.
Shatta Wale made the remarks while reacting to the cancellation of his ShattaFest event in the United Kingdom. The show was called off after a stampede, with reports indicating organizers had not anticipated the size of the crowd and were unprepared to manage the turnout.
