The fourth edition of Miss Golden Stool is scheduled for this Sunday, November 27, 2022 at the Accra International Conference Centre. Eight beautiful ladies have been selected out of the 16 ladies who started the competition.
Miss Golden Stool is aimed at protecting the rich culture, traditional values and Heritage of the Akan people.
The event will be hosted by TimaKunkunand include performers like;Kwaisey Pee, Obaapa Christy, Jayana and Fameye.
Speaking in an interview, Akua Amoakowaa, CEO of Miss Golden, said the reward for the winner is a car, undisclosed cash and other prizes from sponsors.
According to her, “Miss Golden Stool is a culturally inclined beauty pageant that seeks to nurture and groom a bevy of young ladies who will use their Physical Beauty, Intellect and Extensive Knowledge of their Culture to affect lives positively.”
She added that the beauty pageant will ”place emphasis on culturally promoting the development of the Akan Regions in areas of Sanitation, Tourism, Health and other Social and Economic issues.”
She stated that it is her dream to expand this pageant into a bigger one. “My dream is to expand the Miss Golden beauty pageant and give more girls opportunity. I will be glad if I get a lot of sponsors to make this happen,” she said.
