Minority demands resignation of Sanitation Minister over money at her residence

The Minority in Parliament is demanding the immediate resignation of the Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, Cecilia Abena Dapaah, over the stolen money from her home.

According to the Minority, they could not overlook “such a serious development” capable of undermining the principles of “probity and “accountability.”

The leader of the Minority, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, made a post on his Facebook page a while ago in which the demand for voluntary resignation and an independent probe were made.

Recent revelations have come to light regarding the discovery of an astonishing amount of money in the private residence of a Ghanaian Minister.

The sum in question amounts to $1 million, €300,000, and millions of Ghanaian Cedis.

  1. This is a serious crime. U people always go for loan and then the ordinary Ghanaian is held accountable for the payment. God will continue to punish this politicians in Ghana.
