Michael Danso inspires listeners with latest rendition of ‘Me Haw’

Michael Danso, Ghanaian gospel artiste and songwriter, would serve his fans another uplifting single titled: ‘Me Haw’ (My Problem), this month.

The melody, which will be available on streaming platforms on Sunday, 18 February, 2024 adds to his several compositions that have attracted positive reviews from music lovers.

‘Me Haw’ is described as “a desperate chant to God” to hear one’s prayer.

“The song is a two-stanza ballad that uses explicit metaphorical expressions to narrate true-life experiences I have encountered which challenged my faith and resilience,” Michael explains.

He says the song was inspired when his faith in God was challenged, as a result of some personal setbacks. But he came to the conclusion that solutions to problems “always lie in payer to God.

Talking to Him about the problems was the best and only way to begin. So it was during one of my desperate prayer sessions that God gave me this song,” he noted.

Michael says the tune is to encourage believers and non-believers to remain steadfast, committed and “not lean on their own understanding in time of difficulties. As humans, we all face troubles and difficulties in life.

Even Jesus our mentor and role model had times of great difficulty. But God tells us in scriptures not to be afraid in times of challenges but take courage because He is always with us,” the singer indicated.

Michael Danso has been on the music scene for years. As a Public Relations practitioner, his professional schedule has not hindered his commitments to using music to cause positive change.

His repertoire includes: “He Never Fails”, featuring Joe Mettle; “Divine Favour”; “Aseda”; “Dance of Love” and “Beko Ma Me”.
