The Manhyia Government Hospital and Kumasi Children’s Home, last Friday, were recipients of donations by Prefos Limited, an electrical engineering contractor.
The gesture formed part of the company’s annual prayers and thanksgiving.
The Manhyia Hospital received a quantity of sanitisers, nose masks, Veronica buckets, scrubbing brushes, brooms and waste bins.
Mr. Osei Kwame Darshan, Administrative Manager of the Manhyia District Hospital, thanked the management of Prefos for the donation, which he described as timely.
According to him, it had come to relieve the facility off financial stress following the Covid-19 pandemic.
He said the hospital had embarked on expansion of infrastructure, and appealed to corporate entities to support them achieve the aim.
Mrs. Philomena Owusu Ansah, General Manager of Prefos Limited, also presented bags of rice, cartons of milk and Milo, sugar, biscuits, toffees and assorted drinks, as well as babies clothing, to inmates of the Kumasi Children’s Home on behalf of Prefos Limited.
