The Deputy Adansi Chief Imam, Alhaji Al Hassan Mubarak, has called on Ghanaians to maintain a clean environment in order to stay healthy at all times.
Making the call at the celebration of Eid-Ul-Fitr at the Obuasi Sports Club, the Deputy Chief Imam noted that it behoves on any true believer of Allah to shun anything that is not clean.

He maintained that if Ghanaians make it a policy to stay clean all the time, money that would be used to buy drugs for treatment of illnesses could be channeled into something else to benefit the nation.
Alhaji Mubarak expressed satisfaction that the conduct of Muslim youth to display motorbikes in the streets after celebration of Eid-Ul-Fitr is gradually fading out and prayed the practice will not resurrect in the future.
He also expressed concern over the pollution of the country’s water bodies and called on the government to team up with stakeholders to address the situation.
The Adansi Zariki Zongo, Alhaji Gibrine Ibrahim, on his part called on President Dramani Mahama to fulfill his 24-hour economy promise to create jobs for the teeming youth in the country.
He stated that the pledge to provide jobs for the youth has gone well and he should do everything within his power to ensure that it materialises.
