Kwesimintsim MP chairs Bawumia’s manifesto committee on education 

Dr Prince Hamid Armah, Member of Parliament (MP) for Kwesimintsim inthe Western region and former Acting Director General of the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) has been appointed by Dr Mahamadu Bawumia to chair the 2024 manifesto committee on education.

The MP comes to the committee with a vast and wide range of knowledge in education, teaching and administration.

The committee is assigned the task to review the New Patriotic Party (NPP) 2016 and 2020 manifestos while engaging all relevant stakeholders to produce a fashionable and forward looking 2024 manifesto.

His committee, which is made up of 21 members, is further charged with the responsibility to effectively and professionally produce a comprehensive manifesto document that can stand the test of time to address the legitimate and socio-economic concerns of Ghanaians.

Dr Yaw Adu Osei Adutwum, Minister for Education, is the advisor to the committee.

The appointment was contained in a statement issued on Thursday, February 22, 2024 by the Communications Director of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign team, Dennis Miracles Aboagye.

Other committees formed for the same agenda of the presidential candidate of NPP include; economy, energy and petroleum, Agriculture and fisheries, communication and digitalization, land, minerals, local government, housing and infrastructure.

Transport, security, foreign affairs, youth and sports, tourism, culture and creative act, health, gender and social protection, trade and industry and employment and labour were also featured for a holistic design of the 2024 manifesto.
