Kunsu Chief cuts sod for multibillion modern Library Complex

Nana Dr. Agyemang Badu Duah I, Chief of Kunsu in the Ahafo Ano South West District of the Ashanti Region, has called on the Ministry of Education to prioritise Information Communication Technology (ICT) studies in the country’s educational system to help the citizens compete in the global job market.

This would also enable future generations to survive the global transformation era.

Nana Duah made the call at a sod-cutting ceremony for the commencement of work on a multibillion modern state- of- the-art Library complex for Kunsu and surrounding communities.

The proposed library complex is situated at the Roman Catholic Basic Schools to serve the entire cluster of schools to enhance ICT education.

Nana Duah disclosed that he was funding the project through proceeds from the conferment of a doctorate degree on him by Divine Key Believers Network from the United States of America (USA).

Mr. Joseph Frimpong Bonsu, District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ahafo Ano South West, commended Nana Agyemang Duah I for his developmental projects for Kunsu and its surrounding communities, and assured him that the Assembly and government would partner him to ensure the total development of the district.

Mr. Justice Kwasi Bator, Ahafo Ano South West District Director of Education, lauded the Chief for his efforts at promoting education.

He pleaded with other stakeholders to emulate the shining example of Nana Duah to make the society a better place for all, as the government alone could not do it without the support of the citizenry and corporate organisations.
