Kofi Kordzi scores brace as Hearts thump Eleven Wonders

Hearts of Oak produced a really impressive display to secure a big win against Eleven Wonders in the Ghana Premier League.

Kofi Kordzi scored a brace with Salim Adams and Daniel Barnieh also finding the net to help the Phobians record a 4-1 win at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Phobians dominated Eleven Wonders and fortunately for them took their chances.

Hearts, who have played one game less, are now seven points adrift of the top spot, as the first round nears conclusion.

Adams scored a trademark bullet shot from range in the 19th minute to give Hearts a deserved lead, which they protected to end the first half.

After the break, Kordzi increased the lead with a header inside the box after a sweet cross from Salifu Ibrahim.

Minutes later, Kordzi made it 3-0 from the spot after his strike partner Barnieh was fouled in the box. The goals were Kordzi’s sixth and seventh of the season.

Barnieh then scored the fourth before Eleven Wonders’ consolation goal arrived in the 84th minute through Tetteh Nortey.
