Karela United returned to winning ways with a slim home victory over Nsoatreman FC in the Ghana Premier League yesterday.
A first half strike from Abdul Rahman Yahaya was enough to secure Karela United a 1-0 win over Nsoatreman FC at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park in Aiyinase.
The ‘Pride and Passion’ lads displayed a five-star performance to record an important win over the Premier League newbies to move out of the relegation zone, after a three-game winless run.
Abdul Rahman Yahaya registered his name on the score sheet for the homesters with a fine strike on the stroke of halftime and eventually became the only goal to be produced in the game.
In the second half, Nsoatreman FC unleashed an intense pressure on the home side with the hopes of getting the leveler, but their efforts proved futile.
