“If you get pregnant, have the baby” –Yvonne Nelson on abortion

Actress Yvonne Nelson is asking young women to have children anytime they are faced with an unwanted pregnancy.

On her active Twitter profile, the Ghanaian actress also advised that people who are not ready to have children should rather have protected sex to avoid unwanted pregnancy.

Taking to Twitter, the film Producer tweeted, “if you get pregnant, have the baby. If you aren’t ready to be a parent, protect yourself. Its a blessing to conceive”.

It is unclear what has pushed the mother of one to speak against abortion. However, she concluded her tweet by adding that; “I’ll tell you guys a story soon”.

Born in Accra, Yvonne Nelson has starred in several movies, including House of Gold (2013), Any Other Monday, In April, Swings, amongst others.

She started her education at St. Martin De Porres School in Accra and later went to Aggrey Memorial Senior High School. She had her tertiary education at Zenith University College and Central University, where she did a degree course in human resource management.

She graduated from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) with a Masters Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy in 2020
