Ghanaian musician Sista Afia has opened up about her approach to romance, music, and balancing her personal life.
In an interview with DJ Slim on Daybreak Hitz, Sista Afia emphasised the importance of separating work from pleasure.
“Oh never ever. It will never happen to have an affair with my manager. It has never happened at my side. It will never happen. Work is work. I don’t know how to mix work with pleasure. It is very difficult for me. I’ve never tried it though but I feel like it won’t work,” she said.
She however noted that “if a man comes into my life and wants to help me, why not? I’ve not gotten there because a lot of people think I already have it. That’s the mentality. They don’t even know I need it more than they do.”
Afia further indicated that she doesn’t involve people in her personal things.
“You can be close to somebody that I’ve dated for years. You might not even know I’ve dated the person, unless I tell you,” she said.
According to her, she keeps things that are supposed to be private to herself.
Sista Afia also confirmed that she’s signed under her own record label and has a manager.
