Screen goddess, Jackie Appiah has revealed that she has made a vow never to endorse an alcoholic brand or betting company.
Even though endorsement deals are one of the main sources of income for celebrities in Ghana, with huge sums of money for the ambassadors, according to Jackie Appiah, she is not excited about it if it is an alcoholic brand or a betting company. In the case of Jackie Appiah, her reasons for taking the entrenched position of not to sign such deal no matter how juicy it is, is personal.
In an interview on ‘Hammer Time’ which was monitored by The Chronicle, Miss Appiah mentioned that she is careful about endorsement deals.
In order to endorse any product, Miss Appiah indicated that she does product evaluation before signing as ambassador.
Known to be the brand ambassador for more than ten products in Ghana, Jackie Appiah intimated that; “I test the products myself and also give to others to also try before I agree to promote it. I care about the users than the money.”
