I will approach things differently if I get another opportunity to coach Ghana; C.K Akonnor

Former Black Stars coach C.K Akonnor insists that he will approach issues differently if he gets another opportunity to coach the Black Stars.

C.K Akonnor was shown the exit last year after a series of poor performances with the Ghana national team. Milovan Rajevac replaced Akonnor but also got the sack after poor outings at the 2021 AFCON in January.

Otto Addo qualified Ghana to the world cup in Qatar in March on an interim basis. The Borussia Dortmund trainer has officially been appointed as the head coach for the Black Stars until the end of the world cup.

C.K Akonnor has previously admitted that team selection was an headache during his time at the Ghanaian national team.

Akonnor insists that he will do things differently if he gets an opportunity to coach the Black Stars again.

“When I get another opportunity to coach Black Stars, I will approach things differently,” he told Asempa FM.

“I have been there and I witnessed what happened but things will change when I get another opportunity,” he added.
