I had the option to choose from Bob Marley’s songs and settled on ‘Stir it Up’ –Sarkodie

Michael Owusu Addo, professionally known as Sarkodie has revealed that as part of featuring him on Bob Marley’s song, ‘Stir it up,’ he had the option to choose from the reggae legend’s songs.

According to Sarkodie, he felt the pressure of doing his best composition to match the songs and mentality of Bob Marley. Knowing his state of mind and how exceptional Bob Marley is, Sarkodie said he was burdened mentally.

He, therefore, decided on ‘Stir it Up,’ which is a love song and that will be a walk in the park for him. “I had the chance to choose but I decided on ‘Stir it up.’ As for love, you can easily do your thing.”

As to how he was able to keep the news from the public, Sarkodie says he even had problem with Possi Gee who gave a hint of it to the public since he wanted it to be a surprise to everyone.

In his own words, Sarkodie said; “I was even in the air when the news broke. I landed and saw messages all over that Possi Gee has granted interview and said I have featured someone bigger.
