Kotoko forward, Franck Mbella’s agent, Amadou Fontem Tigana, has revealed he’s gotten so many connections worldwide at the moment because of the elite forward and has rejected 500 calls so far, all for his service.
The 21 year old switched to the Porcupine Warriors prior to start of the 2021/22 season and has had a stellar spell in Kumasi, having stole series of headlines in the Ghanaian topflight.
The young sensation has netted 21 league goals for the ‘Kum Apem’ outfit and is just a goal away from breaking the record and two to have it all for himself.
Speaking on Happy FM in Accra, Tigana, who is the CEO of Royal Soccer Scout Management Agency, stated that Mbella has given him more recognitions than all the players he’s managed so far and that, he rejected offers from South Africa to allow him join Kotoko because of their pedigree.
He added that “Because of Etouga I have got more than 5000 calls.I have been managing top Cameroonian players like Nicolas Moumi Ngamaleu of Young Boys. So I am not after the money but because of Etouga the connection I have is more than the other players I am even managing. I had a contract for him at South Africa but I preferred he went to Ghana. Asante Kotoko platform is very big. I sent him here with the notion that he will not last more than two years.”
