Former Big Brother Naija reality show winner, Phyna, has stated that she does not see herself settling down for marriage.
Phyna made this known while revealing her desire not to have biological children.
Speaking in a viral video on social media, Phyna linked her decision to be child free to repeated heartbreaks and her choice to remain single.
The reality star, who disclosed that she’s now emotionally attached to animals, chose being pet a mom over motherhood despite being fertile.
“After all, I don’t even want to have a child. I’m very fertile, but I just want to be a cat and dog mom. I think the love for animals in women kicks in when we’re approaching 30s.
“Especially when you don’t see yourself settling down or maybe you’ve been into so many broken relationships. I think I’m at that stage right now”, she said.
Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, known professionally as Phyna, is a Nigerian actress, model and reality TV star. She was the winner of Big Brother Naija season seven.
She grew up in Auchi, Edo State, where she had her primary and secondary education. She completed her studies in the Engineering Department at Auchi Polytechnic.
Before entering the Big Brother Naija house, Phyna was a commercial model, who started her career from college and was signed by a modelling agency.
During the season finale of the show on 2 October, 2022 she was declared the winner of the final votes and was entitled to the ₦100,000,000 (one hundred million naira) grand prize, making her the second female to win the show, three years after Mercy Eke won it.
