Hearts coach expresses disappointment in Tamale City’s mauling

Following Accra Hearts of Oak’s 4-1 defeat to Tamale City, the team’s fitness coach, Jordan Enoch Daitey who was standing in for David Ocloo who was serving a ban, has given his reaction.

Daitey was in charge of the team during the game due to David Ocloo’s suspension, as the former Porcupine Warriors deputy coach was sent off during their match against Berekum Chelsea.

Tamale City’s Yahaya Mohammed, Sampson Eduku’s brace, and Isaac Mensah’s goal secured a crucial victory for the Tamale-based club over the former Ghanaian champions at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.

In a post-match interview with StarTimes, Coach Daitey expressed disappointment with the team’s loss, saying, “What we planned wasn’t what we got, so we will go back home and fix whatever we’ve lost today.”

Accra Hearts of Oak now occupies sixth position on the league table with 42 points, eight points behind leaders Aduana Stars.
