GREL hands over GH¢284K KVIP project to AhantaKomanfakrom

Ghana Rubber Estate Limited (GREL), a rubber plantation company has handed over a ten-seater KVIP project to the chiefs and people of AhantaKomanfokrom at a cost of GH₡284, 000.

Nana Gyentsi Amoako, chief of Komanfokrom, in a short ceremony, was full of praise for the company for redeeming a pledge made to the community to build the KVIP for them in less than four months.

Nana Kwesi Agyemang who chaired the function commended the chief and people of Komanfokrom for the patience in waiting for GREL Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project to reach their turn.

He said, GREL operated in over 96communities, and obviously, one would have to exercise patience before a CSR project reached their turn. He advised the community to take good care of the project to serve the purpose for which GREL doled out the money for the project.

Corporate Affairs Manager of GREL, Mr Perry Acheampong on his part thanked the chief, elders and the community for the peaceful relationship they have with the rubber company. He also commended the community for waiting patiently for the past two years without any agitation and urged others to emulate the shining example of the people of Komanfakrom.
