Great Olympics will stay top of league -Annor Walker

Accra Great Olympics Football Club head coach, Annor Walker, is adamant his side will stay at the summit of the Betpawa Premier League for some time.

He said this in a post game interview after seeing his side beat city rival Accra Lions 3-0 with two goals from Michael Yeboah and a goal from Emmanuel Antwi sealing the big win for Olympics.

The win moves Great Olympics to first place in the 18 team league standings after five games; The Wonder Club has amassed nine points from winning two games and drawing three.

“I would wish being there (on top of the league) to end the league but… am sure am going to be there for a time at least. The defenders are solid but my attack is where the problem was and we worked on it throughout the week.”

“I had to talk to those who are assisting from the wings and from the middle, the offensive midfielders, to also help so that we can make it and you saw the two goals came from one of my wingers who is Michael Yeboah.”
