Dr. Bawumia in Savannah Region

RECEPTION

At a meeting with the Savannah Regional House of Chiefs, Dr. Bawumia indicated that it was an honour to visit the region as a son of the Gonja Kingdom and leader of the NPP.

I am feeling very much at home because my father has given me a very warm welcome,” Dr. Bawumia said.

He recalled that when NPP promised to create the Savannah Region, as was contained in its 2016 manifesto, because the people wanted it, a number of Ghanaians doubted it, but today the new region has been created.

According to him, the region has got its fair share of the national cake and that 378 projects had already been completed, whilst 137 are ongoing.

He mentioned that the Ghana Water Company was currently working hard to bring water to Damango.

Work has similarly commenced on the Daboya Bridge and “Insha Allah, this bridge will be completed before December this year.”

The presidential candidate of the NPP, Dr. Bawumia, further mentioned road projects currently going on in the Savannah Region and also outlined other projects by the Akufo-Addo government.
